Preface

The present “Book of the Code of Conduct” has been framed, in consonance with the V.K.S. University Code of Conduct, for Anjabit Singh College, Bikramganj.

It aims to guide the college incumbents in adhering to basic norms to ensure a healthy academic environment and discipline within the institution.

All faculty, students, and staff are expected to strictly follow the provisions of this “Code” in order to achieve positive academic outcomes and uphold the values of V.K.S. University, Ara.

Principal Provide inspirational and motivational leadership to the college. Ensure transparency, honesty, ethics, and accountability in decision-making. Promote collaboration, innovation, and sustainable practices. Maintain professionalism and responsibility in resource management. Refrain from discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion, gender, or race. Librarian Promote reading and scholarship actively. Work towards modernization and digitalization of the library. Implement plagiarism-check mechanisms and encourage academic ethics. Celebrate “Library Day” and organize faculty-specific library weeks. Maintain cleanliness and create a welcoming space for academic discussions. Teachers

Teaching is a noble profession that requires commitment, patience, and integrity. Teachers must align their actions with the values of the profession.

Safeguard constitutional values in personal and professional life. Continuously grow through study, research, and active participation in academia. Discourage plagiarism and uphold academic ethics. Respect the university’s vision, mission, and cultural traditions. Participate in teaching, research, examinations, and extra-curricular activities. Code of Conduct for Students Strictly follow all rules and regulations; violations may lead to cancellation of admission. Avoid activities disruptive to discipline such as strikes, unlawful assemblies, or substance abuse. Do not engage in ragging under any circumstances. Follow the institution’s modest dress code, especially in professional courses. Maintain mandatory attendance.
